Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, the best experience any airport in the world has to offer

The name Suvarnabhumi was chosen by HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej which means “The Golden Land”, specifically referring to the continental Indochina. “Golden Peninsula” or “Golden Land” is a traditional name for the Thailand-Cambodia-Laos-Burma region. Designed by Murphy/Jahn Architects, the airport in itself is a thing of beauty. The airport itself is located in Bang Phli district, of Samut Prakan Province, about 30 km’s from Bangkok. There is a 600 room hotel located near the passenger terminal, and right above the underground subway rail link that you can take there. At the Suvarnabhumi airport there are a lot of things that you can do when you are at the Bangkok airport. If you are interested at experimenting with the local cuisine you can do that here comfortably because there are many sit-down and to-go restaurants that you can choose from. There are also international food chains if you want to stick to your tastes, but it is highly recommended that you try Thai food at least once, and what better place to do so than on the very airport. Another way to try out the food is to buy an online pass for the lounge area. This is a good choice considering that the lounge area is less noisy than other terminals and you can get Wi-Fi here too. There are other ways to spend your time, be it your layover from another flight or you are just visiting. You can enjoy shopping here on the many duty-free shops. These include flagship stores from branded clothing lines like Lacoste among others, pharmacies, etc. You can head on down to 4th floor to take full advantage of the shopping options. Another way to spend some quality time and get rid of the jetlag from your flight is to spend some time at one of the spas located on the premises. These spas offer a variety of services like massages, manicures and pedicures, facial treatments, all in affordable prices.
