King Rama IX Park is strategically located about 15km from the city center, so it is quite easy to get to the park once you are in Bangkok. A taxi ride is the easiest means to get here, whether you are coming directly from the town or from the airport in Bangkok. The park opens at 5:00 AM and stays so until 6:00 PM, so you can walk in any time you are ready for a getaway from the daily bustles of the city. What to Do In King Rama IX Park
While at the park, you will find a lot of interesting activities to keep you fixated. A dated building, for instance, exists at the middle of the park, and if has a golden spire that is visible from anywhere in the park. The building serves the purpose of a gallery to celebrate the life of the king. Here, you will find assorted photos, paintings, and information regarding royal projects. The display here, although mostly not in English is still fascinating nonetheless. Other attractions include an American garden that is located in a big futuristic dome and serves as a reminiscent of the Neveda desert. There is also a very large Titanic garden with an enormous variety of beautiful flowers, such that botanic lovers can spend days looking at them. King Rama IX Park offers something for everybody, irrespective of age, or interest. It is a place that’s worth visiting in a lifetime.
