Mai Khao beach

With a whopping 11km extensive, Mai Khao is the longest beach in Phuket. If you are in Thailand and you are looking for a great place to relax, Mai Khao should be your destination. Standing at one end of the beach, it is not possible to see the other end since it goes on and on. Mai Khao Beach is part of the famous Sirinat National Park and it is not largely developed. However, it is one of the most luxury and quiet beaches. The beach is less crowded making it the perfect place for a relaxing holiday especially to people who don't love crowds. Since the beach is part of the National Park, you can walk around the beautiful areas of the national parks land as you take in the beauty which is a peaceful retreat. Mai Khao Beach is richly blessed with marine life. Also, there is a variety of wildlife and plants to see around the beach. As you walk around you will spot rare bird species, lizards, snakes, and fish. Other things to do around Mai Khao Beach are going shopping around turtle village. Soi Dog Foundation a charity place that helps street dogs and homeless cats. Take a tour to their facilities and you will be surprised to meet hundreds of dogs and cats that you can play with.
