This market is settled on the bottom of the beautiful Buddhist Karon Temple (Wat Suwan Khiri Khet), few meters away from Karon circle that lies behind the Karon beach. Unlike other markets of Phuket, it opens only twice a week i.e. Tuesday and Friday & starts to set when the temperature becomes more pleasant, just before sunset around 5 pm to the late night around 10 pm.
Wat Karon's region covers around 12,000sqm, which turns out into a booming market that attracts many foreign & local visitors every week, where best quality products are available at very cheap & affordable prices.
