Karon Temple Market is a lively evening market in the grounds of Karon Temple (Wat Suwan Khiri Khet), with stalls selling fresh food, fruit, clothes and souvenirs. Its food stalls are especially popular with visitors.

The market is held in the grounds of the Buddhist Karon Temple (Wat Suwan Khiri Khet), a few metres from the Karon roundabout behind Karon Beach. Unlike many other markets in Phuket, it is held only on certain days of the week, and it sets up as the temperature becomes more pleasant towards sunset and runs into the night.
The grounds of Wat Karon cover around 12,000 square metres, which fill with a busy market that attracts many foreign and local visitors every week. Products on display range from fluorescent Singha lager vests to Thai-style bags, shawls and sarongs, colourful swimwear and beachwear, Muay Thai (Thai boxing) shorts, watches, satchels and cheap trinkets that you can take home as souvenirs.
There are also stalls selling handicrafts made by Thai artists, such as robots made of springs and wire, and small knitted teddy bears and dolls.
Some sellers also offer body care products such as aloe vera, perfumes and hair oils.
A Thai market is nothing without Thai food.
Karon Temple Market has many food stalls where you can try a variety of local Thai street food, including Thai desserts, fruit shakes, grilled or steamed pork and tofu, spring rolls and curries, so visitors have plenty of chances to discover new flavours.
